Okay. Now I found A version 2.0 (yes, I’m sure).. but it still doesn’t work.. ?

Yep, it’s because it’s Aperture 2.1.2 – at least the trial version available on apples webside..

Anyone know what to do then?

for all those who encounters with problem, check whether it is aperture 2 or an newer version. anything released later than aperture 2 causes this problem.

Just copy the ApertureTrial file inside you .dmg to your hard disk, and Ctrl+Click and select show packages contents.

Thanks for this. It worked for aperture 2 on my 12″ PowerBook.

I installed from the aperture 2 DVD. So I had to show hidden files using the app Onyx. Then copy all the files from the DVD to my hard drive. Then edit the hidden aperture.mpkg as described above.

Aperture works well with my PowerBook, just that the programs interface animations are a bit jerky.
